The nose is complex and layered, offering aromas of liquorice, herbs, coffee, plums, blackberry and ripe cherry, followed by subtle nuances of oak spice, and a distinctive earthiness. A classic blend of 80% Tempranillo and 20% Grenache, provide earthy and cocoa notes which follow through on the palate, with generous flavours of black fruits, spice and plums on the finish. Full-bodied, with a big structure and well integrated tannins.
Enjoy foods such as pork ribs, lamb tagine, Osso Bucco and mushroom dishes.
Drinking well now and will cellar for another 6 to 7 years.
