Description
The Friesland Broer & Suster (“Brother & Sister”) Shiraz (90%)-Grenache (10%) is a smart blend combining the masculine robustness and body of Shiraz with the feminine elegance and fruit driven profile of Grenache… and celebrates siblings making great wine together.
The wine has a dark purple plum core with a magenta red rim. The Shiraz component brings structure, raspberry, violet and spice flavours to the blend, with the Grenache part adding elegance, bright red fruit and sweeter notes of cinnamon and chocolate. The wine has supple tannins and a pleasant dry finish.
Enjoy now or will cellar well for another decade.
Pair with cottage pie, venison, chargrilled burgers, ribs or chops, and meat lover’s pizza.
