Description
This is a rich, full bodied, barrel fermented Chardonnay. Citrus notes of orange peel and ruby grape are evident both on the nose and on the palate. As a result of its alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in barrel, as well as its further maturation on the lees, this wine’s finish is long, complemented by butterscotch and biscuit flavours.
Given its structure and acidity, this Chardonnay can age gracefully for 5 to 7 years, potentially longer, depending on storage conditions.
Dishes like fettuccine Alfredo or crayfish mac and cheese are ideal pairings, as the creaminess of the pasta will harmonize beautifully with the wine’s oak and body.
Serve at 9-12 Deg
