A nose of enticing blackcurrant, ripe plum, and dark cherries. Hints of tobacco leaf, cedar, and violet emerge with time. On the palate, this Stellenbosch Kloof red blend offers a velvety fine grained tannin mid palate, with juicy black fruit, cocoa and a hint of vanilla. A well-balanced acidity provides structure and a lingering finish of spice and concentration.
Serve at 12-15 Deg.
Pair with veggie pizza, pasta with hearty red sauce, pepper steak, roasted vegetables, mushroom ravioli, roast pork with fruit sauce.
