Description
Spicy notes of black pepper, cinnamon and cloves are layered atop black cherry and chocolate. The palate shows fresh plum and violets and finishes with a well-rounded velvety tannin.
The vintage is very approachable young, but it has the potential to develop more complexity with time, softening the tannins and integrating flavours.
Serve at 12-15 Deg.
An excellent wine with grilled lamb or beef, as the wine complements the char and richness or spicy or smoky sausages can enhance the peppery notes in the wine.
