Blend : 51% Cabernet Franc 34% Cabernet Sauvignon 15% Merlot
Complex bouquet of fruit with red plum and blackberries dominant with further notes of black cherry and mulberry. Aniseed and notes of dried oregano add even more intrigue to the wine. It is well supported by grippy powdery tannins which lead to a lingering fruity finish.
Serve at 16-18 Deg.
Drinking beautifully now and will reward well with further cellaring.
A lightly seasoned pork tenderloin, perhaps with a berry glaze, brings out the wine’s fruity notes or a mix of cured meats, pate, and soft cheeses pairs well, highlighting the wine’s versatility.
